The famous Betway Premier League, as televised live on Sky Sports, sees an initial ten-player field competing across four months at 16 arena venues to contest for the prestigious title & £700,000 worth of prizes.

Before the top four players progress to the Play-Offs in London, Leeds Arena hosts one of the elimination rounds which promises to be a fun filled night for families or groups of friends alike – expect the best Leeds arena accommodation to book up fast with this great event in town!

5th February – Carnival of Madness at the First Direct Arena

The Carnival of Madness is rolling into Leeds in February for one of a string of UK appearances with what promises to be a top new line up.

Established in 2010, The Carnival of Madness has built a fantastic reputation for featuring the best hard rock talent around, with artists including Alter Bridge, Papa Roach, Evanescence and In This Moment, taking part in previous tours across the United States.

Heading up the UK Carnival invasion will be Kentucky rockers, Black Stone Cherry, who return to the UK following their 2014 headline tour and an electric performance at Download in June. The band are “beyond excited and honoured to return to the UK to headline the UK’s first ever Carnival of Madness Tour!” Joining them on the bill will be special guests Shinedown, who will be releasing their fifth studio album this autumn, and Pennsylvanian band Halestorm, whose third full studio album Into the Wild Life was released in January 2015. Newcomers Highly Suspect will open the show with tracks from their album Mister Asylum, due for release in July.

A feast of musical treats – tickets are selling fast, so do book as soon as you can to avoid disappointment!

13th February – Valentine’s Movie Night at Harvey Nichols

Do date night in style – treat your special someone to a screening of Baz Lurhmann’s iconic ‘Romeo & Juliet’ whilst tucking into a delicious three course dinner, gourmet popcorn and a specially-designed themed cocktail. With the cinematic sound and visual experience provided by Bang and Olufsen of Leeds, all set in the Harvey Nichols Espresso Bar in the stunning Victoria Quarter, it’s the perfect event for a relaxed, fun date night or an evening with friends.

14th February – Suede at the O2 Academy

Suede return with their new album and feature film Night Thoughts, released on January 22nd. A unique experience where Suede will perform the Night Thoughts in full, using the film as a backdrop during the first half before moving on to a traditional set.

26th February – The X–Factor Live Tour at Leeds Arena

If you watched the contestants from their first auditions, through to the six-seat challenge at bootcamp and the judges’ houses and, of course, voted for them every weekend during the live studio shows, you probably can’t wait to see them take to the stage at the First Direct Arena!

28th February – Paddy McGuinness at Leeds Grand Theatre

Star presenter of ITV’s Take Me Out, and one of the UK’s best-loved comedians Paddy McGuinness returns to his performing roots, with his first stand-up comedy tour since 2011.

After many sell out tours and best-selling DVDs, Paddy’s long awaited return to stand-up will see him perform 50 dates across the UK with another hotly anticipated show, Daddy McGuinness.

Paddy, who is raring to get back to where he belongs – on stage, making people laugh, said: “I’m really looking forward to being back on tour – I’ve missed it. I’ve got a great new show planned – Daddy McGuinness. Amongst many other things, I’ll be sharing several stories about becoming a first time Dad & parenthood.”
