Where to eat in Leeds?

The first thing people ask the team at Quebecs Luxury Apartments about is obviously Leeds city centre accommodation. As a top provider of serviced apartments in Leeds, it’s what we do best!

Perhaps the second most asked question though, is ‘Where’s good to eat in Leeds?’.

Well. Where to begin? While you’re staying with us, whether for business or for pleasure, you’ll find yourself spoiled for choice when it comes to eating out.

The best place obviously depends on what you love eating, but here are a few of our favourites to inspire you:

Red’s True Barbecue

If you’ve had an especially long day, or just have an especially big appetite, Red’s is a great option – the portions are generous to say the least, and the food is fantastic. It’s all American fayre that’s on offer – from gourmet burgers to delicious Mac and Cheese, and if your eyes are bigger than your belly, don’t worry – you can ask for a doggy bag to take your leftovers away. (And keep them fresh in your fridge back at your Quebecs Luxury Apartments apartment!)

Kendell’s Bistro

This cosy, quirky restaurant has a stream of well deserved excellent reviews. Situated in the thriving arts district of Leeds it’s a great spot for a pre-theatre dinner, having been described as a ‘French haven in the heart of the city centre’. The food is wholesome and delicious, including dishes such as duck, salmon en croute and vegetarian options including the risqué ‘Menage aux trois’ – a real treat with leek and Roquefort tart, white bean and aubergine timbale and spinach and pine nut croquette.

Gallery FortyOne

Gallery FortyOne offers a huge range of delicious food, from pizza to pasta to steaks and grilled fish dishes, all served up with style and cooked to perfection. The atmosphere is friendly and upbeat and the staffa re fantastic – Gallery FortyOne is definitely worth a visit.

The Sunshine Bakery

If you’re looking for somewhere to pick up a sweet treat to take away, The Sunshine Bakery is sure to hit the spot. Located in the chic Chapel Allerton area, this stylish French patisserie style shop is full of wonderfully indulgent treats, from cupcakes and champagne truffles through to freshly made artisan breads and soups – perfect to bring back to your apartment and enjoy in comfort with a coffee.

Of course, you might prefer to stay in and cook something for yourself. It’s not an option you’ll find in many luxury hotels, but at our luxury serviced apartments, it’s no problem at all. Here at Quebecs Luxury Apartments, all of our serviced apartments in Leeds city centre come with their own fully equipped kitchen, so whether you fancy whipping up breakfast so you can have an extra hour in bed with the papers, or want to impress your travel companion with a full home (from home) cooked meal, you can get cooking to your heart’s delight while you’re staying with us.

As one of the top providers of one or two bedroom apartment Leeds visitors come back to again and again, we pride ourselves on always having the ‘inside scoop’ on what’s going on in the city. Whether it’s entertainment, eateries or the best new bar, we’re always on hand to offer advice and recommendations.

We love to know what you think too – what are your own favourite places to eat out in Leeds? Leave us a comment with your best recommendations.
