Fans of military history will enjoy a visit to the The Royal Armouries; the national museum of arms and armour. It holds one of the largest collections in the world dedicated to military history and historical weaponry; real enthusiasts might need a good day or two to fully explore! They also stage re-enactments and jousting events, check their website for dates and events.
