Happy New Year!
Here at Quebecs Luxury Apartments, we hope you had a wonderful time ringing in 2016? If the start of the New Year has you turning your thoughts to resolutions and the like, why not try something different for 2016? Literally! Instead of resolving to give something up, why not resolve to indulge in as many new experiences as possible instead?
With so much choice and such a wide variety of activities on offer, Leeds is an ideal place to try new things, and since we boast some of the best Leeds accommodation around, why not book into Quebecs Luxury Apartments for a weekend while you tick a few things off?
Want to get more active this year? Why not head to Chevin Forest Park? Overlooking the market town of Otley, the Chevin not only provides stunning views of the surrounding countryside, often called the best in Yorkshire, but also plenty to do. There are two orienteering trails, plenty of footpaths and bridleways to explore either on foot or on horseback and even rock climbing opportunities on the Chevin’s rocky crags.
If that sounds too energetic, why not check out a new art gallery or museum instead? Again, Leeds has a huge variety to choose from, whatever your cultural tastes.
Leeds City Museum is located just across from Millennium Square, and just a ten minute walk from the best Leeds apartment to rent! It hosts four floors of interactive galleries to explore, and better yet, admission is free. With the main focus being on natural history, you can go toe-to-toe with the Leeds tiger, step into Ancient Worlds to meet the Leeds mummy Nesyamun, and even dig for fossils in the Life on Earth gallery.
Fans of military history will enjoy a visit to the The Royal Armouries; the national museum of arms and armour. It holds one of the largest collections in the world dedicated to military history and historical weaponry; real enthusiasts might need a good day or two to fully explore! They also stage re-enactments and jousting events, check their website for dates and events.
Another reason Quebecs Luxury Apartments is one of the best places to stay in Leeds, is that we’re so close to the city centre and the huge variety of fantastic restaurants on offer, allowing you the opportunity to try out a new cuisine or two as well during your stay.
Bulgogi Grill is the first Korean barbeque restaurant in the city, and it’s certainly a unique dining experience! Each table has its own built in grill as you’ll be doing the cooking yourself! Load on prawns, squid and a host of Korean style marinated meats, then roll up a lettuce wrap, with your choice of dips, pickled vegetables and more. It tastes great and it’s fun too.
If you’re on a bit of a New Year’s health kick, the menu at Nourish on Bond Street (just a five minute walk from Quebecs Luxury Apartments) will certainly appeal. Nourish believe that everything you eat should have nutritional value, so if it isn’t good for you, it’s not on the menu. Everything of offer is delicious, but also packed with nutrition to help you give your body a bit of TLC.
